Broken Neck Fallacy

Two figures are walking down an alleyway at night. Seemingly building a world of their own through their intense discussion. Time ripples in iridescent waves around the edges of their motion.

They don't know it yet but a future has called them here together.

Sometimes destiny intervenes on it's own behalf.

“Well what happens when we let it continue man, this is just the start, what about when they come for what we're making?”

“It's always the same with you. Pointing to some darker inevitable future consequence. It's the fucking slippery slope fallacy man."

“I hear you but let's look around. I mean take a look around you man. Really look at what's happening. Slippery slope fallacy? I would call it a broken neck fallacy because we've already slipped man. We slipped a long time ago. It's oil on ice out here."

“Yea I mean there quite literally is oil on the ice.”

Both come to some partial agreement through laughter and continue their way onward towards an unknown entity calling them forward. A hollow drum pulse soothes the air surrounding them. Thick fog emanates from a deep magenta glow beyond the horizon. Pavement begins shifting before them as the street merges suddenly into a cool blue river singing ancient melodies. Words begin to form beneath their feet on the now crumbling pavement and silhouetted images merge with them in the clouded water.

The Trick

How high?

Where trees are standing in the water

Make it shiny

Lake Iroquois

Meeting hallways hiding bones

Shape shifting moon light

Dollar signs dollar signs

Walking with remembering

Pile it up and make it flat to pile some more

Smoke spirals

Curtain rods

Songs of medicine

LED’s surround sound

Souls of spirit guides with roots in seasons cycles

Shrink wrapped gazebo

Circle stories bringing wisdom to the young

Hungry ghosts and trains with pigeon spikes

Soaring eagle

Frozen raccoon

belly of the bear

A peel on tattoo

Wisdom in the flesh

The steel of statues

That’s high enough

Thanks
